Join the Durham Region Libraries for an engaging session with author Katherine Martinko on supporting children’s healthy development in a digital world. Drawing on insights from her book Childhood Unplugged, Katherine will share practical strategies for managing screen time, encouraging meaningful face-to-face connection, and fostering independence in children.
Attendees will learn:
- Practical approaches for setting healthy screen time limits
- Ways to encourage face-to-face interaction and stronger family connections
- Simple, supportive tools for talking with children about technology
