This free community workshop will teach participants how to repurpose secondhand materials into useful items like zippered pouch, while exploring basic sewing and textile crafting skills. It will introduce a way for community members to come together and foster creativity, and take part in sustainable, hands-on learning experiences. All materials provided.

McLean Branch was originally designed by Totten Sims Hubicki Associates, and grew with the addition of the Makerspace in 2023. The Makerspace includes The Booth for media recording and editing, laser cutters, 3D printers, and more.
