October
Explore the fun and bizarre world of folklore and urban legends at this horror-themed writing session! Discuss why these childhood stories persist in our memory, and break down the elements that make them easily repeatable and timeless. Challenge yourself to create your own myth or character.
November
We will celebrate the creation of the very first Ajax Public Library Writers’ Group anthology, by binding together the submitted pieces into a bound book. Learn how to operate the Makerspace equipment, as well as sign up for a tour of the recording studio and the chance to perform your own writing piece!

Let’s cap off the end of the year with a party. Enjoy refreshments, mingle with other writers, participate in bingo and other board games. We will also open the floor for any writers who wish to read their works aloud to the group. 5 minutes per person maximum.
