Want to save money, protect the environment, and stay comfortable through Ontario’s unpredictable winters? Empower Me® Ontario is a free program that helps households across the GTHA understand their energy use, lower utility bills, and make their homes more comfortable and safe, especially during the winter months of extreme cold, snow, and winter storms, as we’re currently experiencing. Local Energy Mentors provide practical tips on heating, energy bills, and everyday habits that can make a big difference, even without expensive upgrades.
