Debra Williams
Debra Williams is a performance strategist, leadership mentor, empowerment coach and the Director of Experience and Inclusion at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She is also a published author who writes uplifting content that reflects and represents the diversity of multicultural Black communities. After working in social development and public health leadership roles she continues to evolve professionally in her current role that promotes wellness, inclusion, equity and accessibility in support of reducing stigma around addiction and mental health and providing care with dignity in Canada.
Clint Murphy
Clint Murphy, a Black Canadian screenwriter from Toronto, is known for crafting genre-bending narratives that reflect the world around us. Clint studied screenwriting at George Brown College. He graduated from the CFC Bell Media Primetime TV Writing Program in 2022. Clint has received several awards, including the Teleplay Grand Jury Prize at the 2021 Richmond International Film Festival and the Geneva International Science in Fiction Screenplay Awards in 2024 for The Road Home. Recently, he secured a showrunner for his original one-hour supernatural female detective series. His passion for storytelling shines through as he advances in his career.
